Find products to suggest

BioRecommender hosts a vast array of products, each linked to specific genes, accommodating the diverse needs of researchers and professionals in the life sciences.
Given the sheer volume of products and the dynamic nature of scientific research and product development, the database is subject to continual updates and changes.

Important Note on Product Listings:
While BioRecommender endeavors to provide comprehensive and accurate product listings, the rapid pace of innovation and updates in the life sciences sector means that the database may not always reflect the most current information. Therefore, it's essential to verify product details by visiting the producer's website directly. This step ensures that you have access to the most up-to-date product specifications, availability, and any other critical information that may influence your decision-making process or research needs.
By cross-referencing product information with the producer's website, you can confirm the relevance and accuracy of the data provided by BioRecommender, ensuring that your research or procurement activities are based on the most reliable and current information available.
When selecting a gene in BioRecommender, a pop-up displays matching producers and their product counts.

Choosing a producer then populates the page with their products and key details for that gene. For deeper insights, the platform facilitates direct access to the producer's website.
In the Producer section of BioRecommender:
1. All products associated with the selected producer are listed.
2. You can filter these products by type, such as antibodies, ELISA kits, proteins, molecules, or reagents.
3. The section provides information about the producer, including links to their main website and LinkedIn page, when available.
4. Clicking on a product will reveal its details.

In the Product Details section of BioRecommender, please note that the database is intended to serve as a reference. Despite efforts to maintain accuracy, the vast number of products means that the database might not always be completely up-to-date. The listed information includes (where available):
1. Producer Name: The name of the company that manufactures the product.
2. Product Type: The category of the product, such as Antibody (Ab), ELISA Kit, Assay Kit, Molecule, Protein, or Reagent.
3. Product SKU: The Stock Keeping Unit or unique identifier provided by the producer.
4. Product Name: The official name of the product as given by the producer.
5. Gene Symbol: The official gene symbol associated with the product, as recognized by gene nomenclature authorities.
6. Product Details: Specifics about the product, including monoclonal antibody (Mab), polyclonal antibody (Pab), recombinant, conjugation, host species, and cross-reactivity with other species.
7. Supplier Website Link: A direct link to the supplier's website for further information.

When the link is available (in over 90% of cases), clicking the button will direct BioRecommender to search the producer's website for the specific product code or gene symbol, providing a list of related products.
