How Generecomender Works
For gene interactions, we calculate the "distance" in a neural network across 64 dimensions, derived from a deep scan of millions of scientific works. This effectively utilizes existing scientific knowledge.

The neural network, trained on millions of scientific publications and databases, suggests possible proteins involved in your research based on your initial input (genes and/or pathology). By considering all possible interactions and integrating data with common databases (e.g., Reactome pathways), we provide recommendations on the most probable genes to investigate based on the given genes and disease.

Consider this Test We've Made
We conducted a test using an older snapshot of the Reactome Pathway database. We asked our GeneRecommender to rebuild the pathways using recently discovered data. We then compared the results with the latest Reactome version to identify newly discovered genes during the gap between the two versions. Our system demonstrated a reliability of 99.986%, with minimal variance. This highlights the effectiveness and accuracy of our AI in integrating and updating scientific data.
GeneRecommender: Advanced AI for Genomic Research
GeneRecommender utilizes a proprietary neural network called DeepProphet, which analyzes an extensive collection of scientific articles and processes approximately 445 million connections. By inputting a selection of genes and/or diseases, this engine generates recommendations for additional closely associated genes. We integrate data from multiple public databases to leverage the latest information.

GeneRecommender's AI engine has been trained using millions of scientific papers, analyzing life science research from the past three decades. By extracting patterns and correlations among genes and diseases, the AI acquired valuable insights from this vast body of knowledge.

The Algorithm - DeepProphet2
GeneRecommender employs DeepProphet2, an advanced deep learning algorithm trained on all available scientific papers. Using cutting-edge Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, the system extracts key information from manuscripts to train a neural network that predicts gene associations for a given study.

TheProphetAI developed a custom transformer-based model similar to successful language models like LaMDA and GPT-4. We tested the system using gene sets representing pathways and diseases. By excluding a randomly chosen gene and testing the algorithm’s ability to predict it, we achieved an AUC of 0.9, demonstrating the algorithm's accuracy.
